Hello, Aglio Olio!

Anyone would agree if i say Aglio Olio Pasta is the simplest italian food to make. Well, mostly because it doesn’t need much ingredients. According to the name, Aglio Olio means Garlic (Aglio) and Oil (Olio). Yes, that’s the basic ingredients you will need to make aglio olio pasta. I’m sure that most of you have both of the ingredients in your house.

And here i will share my own recipe of Aglio Olio. I always use different protein (meat) when i cook aglio olio pasta. Sometimes i cook with shrimp, salmon, tuna, squid or clams. But most of the times i use shrimp as the best protein to go with aglio olio. If you wonder why i do not include chicken on meat as the protein, well its because in my opinion chicken doesn’t fit with aglio olio. Meat is fine, but not with chicken. I just thought its a mistake to put in chicken in aglio olio.

And here is the recipe:
50gr Shrimp
3 cloves garlic
3 baby tomatoes sliced
A pinch of italian seasoning
A few leaves of basil
200gr pasta

Cook the pasta in the boiling water, salted water until al dente, about 3 minutes. Drain and transfer to a large bowl.
Heat oil in a pan, put in garlic, put in the shrimp, cook until shrimp turned red.
Add the pasta, salt and pepper, italian seasoning and put in the basil and tomatoes for the final.
Put in a plate, add a slice of lemon water.

It is easy, right? Well, i’m gonna make this as my dinner tonight. See yaaaa…
