Think Fast in The Kitchen (Jelly Choco Milk Edition)

Choco Milk Jelly

I just made this dessert/breakfast half an hour ago. What’s inside the glass are on the bottom is plain jelly which i’ve added gelatine and the milk chocolate above the jelly. I was intended to make a Jelly Avocado but when my avocado juice turned to brown-ish after i put it inside my refrigerator, i had a need to change it because it doesn’t look delicious to me anymore. Ha! You still can see the avocado juice in the middle glass, the brown-ish liquid on jelly.

Salmon Tartare with Avocado

Salmon Tartare

Well, i just made this dish this afternoon after looking for some idea to eat salmon. Who doesn’t love salmon? If you want a high protein dish from sea, salmon is your hero (along with snapper, halibut and tuna). I shared my salmon with my 16 months little niece. I eat this salmon raw while she eat it perfectly cooked. Everybody know fishes are good for kids brain developing.

Let’s Make Pasta!

Beef Ravioli with Pomodoro Sauce

It’s been a while since i made my own pasta from scratch. I loves pasta. Any pasta! But as you can see, i mostly cook my pasta dishes from dried pasta i bought in supermarket. There are pros and cons about using fresh pasta and dried pasta. But i don’t want to talk about that now. You may prefer fresh pasta because its fresh or you may choose dried pasta because it makes your life easier. Whatever the reason, its your choice and i won’t judge you. And for myself, i don’t mind to eat pasta whether its fresh made or dried. As long as you use fresh ingredients to cook along with the pasta, i’ll be fine.

Brunch for Two

I made this dish last saturday. Since i have unused Ricotta, so i tried to eat it with sandwich. Thank God it fits! I mean, I don’t really like cheese but i can accept the ricott flavor inside. In this sandwich i put in fried dori, tomato, onion, egg and lettuce. The ricotta i stick it to the bread. And if you wonder why the bread color is green? Thats because the shop i bought bread is run out of white bread. So i took the Pandan Bread. It still delicious though.

Kosher vs Halal

I believe some of you must be ever heard about these words; Kosher and Halal. Both words has powerful meaning for two groups, Moslem and Jewish. Moslem knew Halal as their basic standard to eat foods. Foods with Halal certified made moslem feels more secure to eat. Kosher has the same meaning.

Halal

Halal is an Arabic word meaning lawful or permitted. The opposite of halal is haram, which means unlawful or prohibited. Halal and haram are universal terms that applied to all sides of life. However, i’m gonna use these terms only in relation to food products, meat products.
